I just found out I won’t be able to finish my Sociology Degree. My parents were paying for my college education but unfortunately both of them have just lost their jobs. They both worked for a solar energy company that just went bankrupt. So they are both scrambling to try and find work. They are both very sad that they can no longer help me to pay for my college education. Since I don’t have my college degree yet, it’s hard to find any jobs that pay very well. So even if I started to work a full-time job, it would take me two years of working to pay for a year of school. It’s a very frustrating situation to be in. I’m thinking of going to Canada and finishing my education there. I have heard their schools are much cheaper than colleges in the United States. All I need is a passport now.

My brother is a dive instructor for scuba and snorkeling. For the past couple of years, he has worked at a camp where he teaches kids all about the ocean and the local wildlife, then gets them in the water to see these things. But despite loving the job, it really pays next to nothing, and he is concerned that his time there may be up soon. He is therefor looking for a new skill to add to his list, and I think I have found the perfect thing for him. He has been wanting to increase his skill set and underwater welding seems to be something that would be great for him. Our father did not teach him how to use a lot of tools, so learning this skill will also give him a sense of achievement as well as a new option for a career path, should he need it down the road.

Many states require some form of continuing nursing education in order for registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to retain their licenses. The amount and type of continuing education varies widely by state. Oregon has a one-time requirement for seven hours of pain management training. Louisiana has an annual continuing nursing education requirement that is based on employment, and ranges from 5 contact hours for full-time nurses to 15 hours for those not employed. California requires 30 hours of continuing nursing education in the two years prior to license renewal for all nurses. Virginia and Oklahoma, meanwhile are among the states that have no continuing nursing education requirement.

States also differ in the type of continuing nursing education that they require. Michigan requires at least 25 contact hours in the two years preceding license renewal, to include at least one hour of education in pain management. Alabama stipulates 24 contact hours of education every two years; for the first license renewal, this must include four contact hours of education by the Alabama nursing board related to board functions, the Nurse Practice Act, regulations, professional conduct, and accountability. Texas requires 20 hours of education in the nurse’s area of specialty every two years, to be provided by education providers approved by the Texas board of nursing.

The continuing nursing education requirements for each state are available on the Internet. Failure to complete this requirement can subject a nurse to fines, reprimands, and license revocation.

I Have Never Taken CPR Courses Before

I am in my mid thirties and I have never taken CPR Courses before. There has never really been a reason for me to take them. But when I made the decision to become a foster parent I knew I would need to take them immediately. I would have to show that I am a responsible adult and that I am able to take care of my responsibilities. But to me it was more than that. It was proving to the children that I wanted the best for them as well. I wanted to make sure that I would be able to take care of them no matter what the emergency was. I'm Going to Start Working on My MBA

I’ve been working in business for a number of years now. I actually have a Bachelor’s degree in English. Business was never really my dream, but I found a great job as a receptionist to start and I’ve been working my way up. Unfortunately I’ve reached the point where it doesn’t seem that I can advance any further without getting a masters in business administration. Luckily my current employer is willing to help pay for my degree, so I’m really excited to get started. I’ve been researching schools and found that there are actually a number of great online programs available. This will be very convenient for me, as I’ll be able to work on my degree for anywhere. Being an older non traditional student I’m not sure that I would feel comfortable in a traditional classroom environment. I’m going to get signed up for classes next week. In a couple of years I will have my degree and will be able to move up again. I hope to be president of the company someday!
